Post Secret

So postsecret is pretty much the coolest thing ever. If you haven't heard of it, it is a blog on this site where people from all over the world can anonymously send in a post card with secrets they have never told anyone. I really want to do this, I think it would be really fun and that way I can get stuff of my chest that I cant tell anyone else.....so now I just need to think of a good secret.

Random

Were all a little weird and life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up in mutual weirdness and call it love. ♥

Hate is easy, love takes courage.

Love the life you live. Live the life you love. -Bob Marley

be who you are and say what you feel beacause those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. -Dr. Suess

if you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else. -Marvin Gaye

Peace, it does not mean to be in a place with no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things, and still be calm in your heart.

This sucks so bad, but we are gonna be friends, and I know that it will work. I guess this is just getting me ready for the many break ups and sadness I will have in the future. I'm eating chocolate and drinking coke....it helps, really. haha. well I dont have anything interesting or funny to say, Im mostly moping right now. So i will put another post sometime soon.

Katie's Brain

Ok so I really hate it when people ask me what I am thinking. Because most of the time, I really don't even know myself.
My brain works in mysterious ways, even to me.
Some times I think on topic and sometimes I am sitting in Enlgish class
thinking about elephants. It all just depends really.
So basically don't ask me what I'm thinking. If I want you to know, then I will most likely blurt it out. Which I do often. I am pretty open with my opinions when I
understand them myself.
"Don't ask me what I'm thinking. I don't think in English. I don't think in words. I think in thoughts and it takes too long to translate."

Some of my favorite words....

Words....words are amazing. They are what deffine us. The things we say give first impressions, they can hurt, heal, love. They can show what we are feeling inside. Words are how we express ourselves. Our words are us and we are our words.

  • Epiphany: a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
  • Inspirational: imparting a divine influence on the mind and soul
  • Divine: Having the nature of or being a deity.
Being in the service or worship of a deity; sacred.
Supremely good or beautiful; magnificent: a divine performance of the concerto.
Extremely pleasant; delightful: had a divine time at the ball.

These are only three words, but there are sooo many more out there. I don't extend my vocabulary as much as I should, and I don't know why? When there are so many words out there to chose from, why do I chose the same old ones like, stupid, cool, awesome?

Inspirational

I wish that some day I could write something that everyone would recognize, and everyone would admire. I wish I could say something so bold and and true and amazing as what Marianne Williamson once wrote but said in a speech by Nelson Mandela,

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
